Wyrd and Wonder is starting today, and it was one of my favorite events last year SO I AM HYPE! Check out Imyril’s intro post for all the details. The event is hosted by Imyril of One More, Lisa of Dear Geek Place and Jorie Loves a Story, and you can follow Wyrd and Wonder on Twitter
When setting off on any adventure a good treasure map is sure to help! I planned, a lot, a lot of posts, and a lot of books. I’m also participating in the Asian Readathon so there’s a lot of mixing these two events. Here’s more info about the Asian Readathon and my plans for it.
MAY(be it’s too ambitious) TBR

Probably too ambitious again, and I’ll try to not feel bad if I don’t get to stick to the plan, but sometimes just having a plan is half the job done for me, so I’m optimistic.

I hope you are enjoying Gods of Jade and Shadow. I love that one and really need a reread of it. I also need to pick up Black Sun. I had plans to do so in February, but didn’t get a chance to pick it up. Enjoy all your reads this month!
I’m looking forward to all the W&W stuff. I think the Jasmine Throne sounds really good, and good luck with your reading!
Its going to be a fun month😁 I forgot all about the prompts, I need to take a look at them.
Oh so many good books on your list.
Hooray for Wyrd & Wonder! I’m impressed by your TBR and the books you’ve picked to fit various prompts/challenges. Hope you enjoy some great reads this month. I’ll also be trying The Bone Shard Daughter for the readalong.
Ooh I really enjoyed Gods of Jade and Shadow and Black Sun, and I’m so excited for The Jasmine Throne! Under the Pendulum Sun is one I still need to get to, too. Happy reading and Wyrd & Wondering!
Thank you! I wasn’t so sold on the beginning of GoJaS but it’s really picked up and I think I may be in love with it now.
Wow! You have lots planned out! While I have a plan, I’m sort of winging it lol I’m a mood reader so I’m sure I’ll venture off the path I made for myself. Happy reading and blogging!

Hallo, Hallo Dianthaa,
We’re happy to have you join us for our fourth year!! 🙂 Isn’t it exciting!? Imagine!! Lisa, Imyril and I never realised how much this event would take-off and how much everyone would love joining us every year! 🙂 Too cool for words, really. I LOVE your post outline and plans, and you’re not the only one who has a seriously ambitious TBR this May!! I can’t wait to continue visiting with you as the month unfolds and see what you’ve done. I’m off to a good start myself – 2x reviews and my Intro to Year 4 went live over the weekend and today, I was going to share another review but my efforts were a bit derailed and delayed. I just struggled to connect with some of the books I slated to read and kept shifting what I was reading/listening too.
The good news is for every book I can’t connect with there is another I can.
Here’s to championing the fantastical this May and finding stories we want to give a #bookHUG too!
Browsing Twitter and Blogs these past few days has been so much, there’s Wyrd and Wonder excitement everywhere, thank you for organizing!
Thank you! I ended up enjoying Gods of Jade and Shadow a lot!
Thank you! The Jasmine Throne ended up being amazing and I can see it becoming one of the books I scream about most this year!
Turns out I was too optimistic with my TBR, my copy of Black Sun never arrived, and I don’t htink there’s any way I can end up reading The House of Shattered Wings by tomorrow, but still it was a fun month with excellent books!
It’s only the second time I’ve had such a planned out TBR, but since I’m soooo indecisive having a short list of books to pick my next read from actually worked out really well!
