Today’s theme is one of my favorites, Books Guaranteed to Put a Smile On Your Face, I love cheerful and optimistic fantasy books and can never get enough of them. Here are some of the books that make me happy, if you’ve got similar recs please please gimme

- Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater – very sweet romance
- Spirit Caller by Krista D. Ball – ghost-talker is fun and into hot guy with great ass
- Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker, Wendy Xu – wholesome graphic novels with acceptance and queer witch grannies
- Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey – hurt/comfort

- The Last Sun by KD Edwards – found family
- Sir Thomas the Hesitant and the Table of Less Valued Knights by Liam Perrin – warm hug
I was gonna add formatting and pictures to this post, but I’ve been so incredibly sleepy all day I’m literally unable to upright and at my pc any longer. I had two days of having to be social at work and it knocked me completely out.
I really need to read Mooncakes one of these days. It sounds delightful.

I had two days of being social at home, and I am done-done-done. But I have a D&D game tonight in zoom. Not sure how I am going to social.
Great list, though—I’m not familiar with any of these, but I will be checking them out.

Happy TTT!
Yes Bujold.
Any particular favourites on the Valdemar train for happiness?
I read Mooncakes last month and enjoyed it. Another one I read that you may like is Sheets by Brenna Thummler.
When you get the chance, I hope you can pop over to my post: https://readbakecreate.com/10-books-with-yellow-covers/
I’m a huge fan of Murderbot. 🙂
