  • Exit West by Mohsin Hamid review, goodreads – contemporary fantasy/magical realism about a couple who lives through a civil war and as migrants
  • Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston review, goodreads – middle grade that’s a lot of fun and magical

  • Soulstar by C.L. Polk, review, goodreads – epic conclusion to a great series

I rarely read fantasy, so I haven’t even heard of most of these. I’m glad they were winners for you, though!

  5. It’s been a while since I read Beowulf, I like the Hrolf Kraki Saga by Poul Andersen better.

  6. Sexy lesbian arms, I love it. I can’t wait to pick up The Unbroken. It’s sitting on my shelf whispering my name right now.

The Royce book looks really good!

  8. Dianthaa says:

It is so good, this year seems to be all about sapphics taking down empires and I’m here for it.
