Gonna keep this one short and sweet, have some SFF books with cats:

Main cats:

  • Swashbuckling Cats – edited by Rhonda Parrish – short story anthology – loved this, pirate cats

  • Nine Lives By Karli Rush, short story – super cute, wish it were longer

  • The Cat Who Walked A Thousand Miles by Kij Johnson – short, adorable, low fantasy

  • For He Can Creep by Carroll, Siobhan – novelette, really liked it, cat vs devil

Supporting cats:

  • Junkyard Cats by Faith Hunter – meh, too many guns, not enough cats

  • Monstress by Marjorie M. Liu, illustrated by Sana Takeda, graphic novel – loved it, dark

  • Sabriel by Garth Nix – Mogget is the bestest

Minor cats:

  • Vampire Knitting Club by Nancy Warren – cat’s not really a character but still super cute

  • The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley – big hunting cat fren

And of course, some cat tax

  1. I love this, and your cat is adorable😀 I’ll add The Aeronaut’s Windlass by Jim Butcher, which has a whole set of cat characters that talk.

      It’s so weird about Aeronaut’s Windlass, I know I have the audiobook, I’ve logged it as read in 2015, have absolutely no memory of it. Guess I should give it a reread
