Goings-On
June has been the month where I spilled back into reading more bad news than actual books. I also played a lot of video games, Demon’s Souls remake, Ratchet and Clank, and now playing Fallout Shelter, Fallout 76 and Mass Effect. I though I hadn’t read much, but looking back I’m not actually below my average, a lot of the reads where on the short side.
I also fell very behind on reviews and haven’t done much blogging expect for trying to catch up with those.

My reading has been really down too, it’s a problem. 🙂
I do like the sound of the Roanhorse book.
I still want to read Upright Women Wanted.
Wishing you a great reading week
I’m sorry you have been behind in your reading and reviewing. It’s frustrating. I feel like I’ve spent a lot of time during the pandemic reading, but I’ve been forced to read whatever I could find, and that’s frustrating, too. Now that things are easing off a bit, I’ve returned to real life.
One of the books you’ve read that I want to read is Parable of the Sower. It’s been on my list for a long time.
I’m also waaay behind on reviews! I
Pet is one of my favourite reads of the year and I am so glad you enjoyed it! I need to get to the rest of the Hibbert brown sisters series as so far I have only read the first one. I read the fifth season last month and loved it! I cannot wait to pick up a copy of book two. It’s good to know it is so great that you race through it. Black sun and the left hand of darkness are two books on my tbr. I liked parable of the sower as a novel but can see how a graphic novel format might not quite suit as much.
Yay for finishing a series! It feels good to do so, yet I always miss the characters I’ve come to love. I haven’t read Pet yet, but it’s on my TBR because it sounds so unique and has received great reviews.
