Long time no blog! I’ve recently signed up to Dracula Daily, and I’m getting almost daily e-mails from my good friend Jonathan Harker, recently graduated solicitor on his first business trip to Transylvania. I’m so proud of him, setting out on his big work trip so far away all by

At the time of writing, I’ve just started Foreigner book 10. I started out meaning to only read book 1, as is my habit, then I said I’ll only read the first trilogy. Then it was “I can stop at any time”. At this point, unless Cherryh does something atrocious

My TBR is too much of a chaotic mess for me to participate in the 12 book challenge (original template by Shadowbooker), but I did rec a bunch of books to my friends on twitter and discord. This is a pretty amazing list, if I do say so myself, so
Paying 2021’s dues: 19 quick thoughts on books I never got round to reviewing

I was doing pretty well keeping up with reviews last year, until I wasn’t. That was around autumn and I kept falling further and further behind. I closed the year with 17 unreviewed books, and I’d rather not carry them all into the new year, so here are just some
